And breathe.... it’s a couple of weeks before your wedding day, the suppliers are booked, your dress is hanging up and the wedding party know their roles on the day. The only other thing you should have on your mind is saying your vows and marrying your best friend.
However, depending on the arrangement with your venue, you many need to consider setting up all decor items for the ceremony and reception. The last thing you want to be doing on the morning of your wedding is going up a ladder to hang some lights, or hauling boxes of centrepieces round, when you should be getting ready and relaxing. Some venues will include decor set up in your agreement, and all you’ll need to do is drop the items off the day before, but make sure you double check beforehand. If it appears that set up isn’t included, you don’t need to worry, you still have plenty of options.
Firstly, contact your venue and see if it’s an option they can offer. It may be considered an additional extra, that wasn’t part of the original agreement. If set up is something your venue doesn’t offer, there are many amazing stylists around who would be able to assist on the day. You may be paying a little extra to hire them for the morning, but a stylist will be able to bring your ideas to life to help you create a Pinterest-worthy day.
If the idea of a stylist is something you’ve been considering, but you are also beginning to worry about the logistics of the morning or of the full day, my On the Day Coordination package will guarantee you a stress free wedding. It would be my job to liaise with your venue and suppliers in the last couple of weeks, oversee the styling and details, and most importantly, ensure that you have a perfect day.
After all, you should be relaxing and enjoying the run up to your wedding and not stressing about the minor details. To find out more on how I can help you to create an unforgettable day, just drop me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
